Celebrating 75 Years of UVM Nursing

In June 1947 the first students to earn a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Vermont crossed the lawn in front of the Waterman Building to accept their diplomas. Of the 267 students graduating that day, only two were in the new five-year nursing program. To celebrate our milestone 75-year anniversary, we're featuring alumni who've made an impact with a year-long UVM Nursing Through the Decades series.
