 On November 11 we celebrate Veterans Day. The University of Vermont is proud to be the academic home for many veterans. We have veterans working on our staff and faculty across campus from the Physical Plant to the Executive Offices and from Nursing to the Bailey-Howe Library. Shopping Bus Trip - Saturday, November 16, 2013
 The Staff Council's Social Committee is sponsoring a bus trip on Saturday, November 16, 2013 to the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester, NH. Get your holiday shopping done early while we take care of the driving. $21 for UVM employees and retirees and $26 for all others. There are still seats available. Staff Council Holiday Bazaar & Food Drive
 The Staff Council Social Committee will hold the Annual Holiday Bazaar & Food Drive on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 9am - 3pm in the Grand Maple Ballroom of the Davis Center. Remember for a non-perishable food donation, you receive one free raffle ticket for a chance to win a wide range of prizes from ski passes to gift certificates at local restaurants and businesses (limit one free raffle ticket per person.) We are also looking for volunteers to work at the event or donate a baked good to our Bake Sale. Socially Responsible Investing Advisory Council - Call for Staff Nominations
 Staff Council is seeking one non-represented staff member to serve on the Socially Responsible Investing Advisory Council (SRIAC) as a staff representative.
