Staff Council Holiday Bazaar & Food Drive

Who can participate?

Those with a direct UVM affiliation as Staff, Faculty, Students, Alumni, and Retirees are eligible to rent 6ft. tables for the Holiday Bazaar beginning Friday, September 14, 2018.

Non-UVM affilated vendors will be able to reserve tables beginning on October 12, 2018.

What can I sell?

Handmade crafts, pottery, artwork, home-made baked goods, maple syrup, wreaths, honey, soap, etc. No mass manufactured goods or multi-level marketing products may be sold.

Individuals are responsible for selling their own crafts, collecting any sales tax, and any loss or damage to their sales items. The use of displays will be limited to the space that your table occupies, and should not block or infringe on another vendor's space. The Staff Council Office personnel reserves the right to deny use of a display that does not meet these criteria. If more room is needed, please consider renting another table for additional space.

This is a semi-juried show: the Staff Council Social Committee reserves the right to limit tables selling similar products to ensure quality and variety. If your reservation is denied you will receive a refund of your application fee. Table rental refunds are not otherwise issued.

How do I reserve a table?

A limited amount of tables are available and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Tables cost $50.
The deadline for reservations is October 25, 2018. Tables sell out early.

PLEASE NOTE:Staff Council Office personnel reserves the right to limit the number of tables selling similar products to ensure variety and different options are available to shoppers.

How can I help with the event?

The Staff Council welcomes volunteers as well as donations of home-made baked goods for the Social Committee bake sale. All proceeds from this table and the rental fees for vendors help to support Staff Council Social Committee events such as bus trips, Champlain Valley Fair ticket discounts, Community Service Award Program, and much, much more.
