I. There are several approaches to the examination of consumer decisions. These are often called Òthe models of consumers approachÓ
II. There are several decision rules that consumers can follow when making a decision. Some of these include compensatory versus non-compensatory rules; conjunctive rules, disjunctive rules, and lexicographic rules.
III. All models of consumer behavior are based on an input--throughput---output approach.
IV. Consumers can engage in several different types of search for information.
