I. There are two basic types of learning: behavioral and cognitive.
II. Classical conditioning and instrumental conditioning are behavioral learning techniques.
III. Cognitive learning involves active participation and thinking.
IV. Concepts associated with learning include: stimulus discrimination, stimulus generalization, thinking, repetition, trial and error.
