Research Interests

My dissertation work focuses on applying proteomic-based mass spectrometry techniques to identify host blood meal prevalence in Chagas disease insect vectors. This is important because it will provide insights into efficient and accurate evaluation of blood meals in Chagas vectors, aiding in intermediate host identification and management decisions. These techniques also have the potential to be applied to other disease vector systems.
