Research

I am interested in signaling mechanisms mediated by the Crk/CrkL family of adaptor proteins, which are involved in both cancer and neural development. Crk/CrcL bind to and interact with other proteins containing "YXXP" motifs via their SH2 domain. The focus of my study is on these YXXP containing binding partners, which may allow for cross talk between major pathways controlling cell growth, proliferation, and cytoskeletal changes.
