The lotteries for UVM GO Travel and UVM GO Community programs are closed, but spots may become available on some programs throughout the summer. To find out about openings in UVM GO Travel Programs, complete the Travel Program Interest Form. To inquire about our early move-in UVM GO Community Program, complete the Community Program Interest Form. We will contact you within a few days to let you know about open spots or waitlists in your preferred programs!

As part of the Division of Academic Affairs and Student Success, UVM GO is a Pre-Orientation Program for incoming UVM students that focuses on global learning, developing intercultural knowledge and skills, and building community. Each experience allows students to develop their awareness of global issues and make connections in their community and beyond.

It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with UVM faculty, staff, alumni, and local experts – all while having fun and making new friends!

Each summer, UVM GO International and UVM GO Cities offer travel opportunities in a variety of destinations, led by UVM faculty members with extensive experience in the location and program theme. UVM GO Community programs are offered in partnership with the Residential Learning staff, and students move into their on-campus housing three days before New Student Orientation to explore the greater Burlington area.

UVM GO International

UVM GO International offers incoming students the opportunity to participate in five-day and six-day travel programs led by a UVM faculty member with extensive experience in the city and program theme.
