Welcome to the current version of UVM’s Draft Strategic Plan. The draft was created based analyses of over 1,000 pages of information gathered from university leaders and all accessible UVM websites, as well as summer and fall retreats with President Tromp, university leaders and members of the Board of Trustees. The resulting framework consists of proposed language for revised Mission and Vision statements, four potential Pillars, and Strategies for achieving the broad goals captured in each Pillar. Once the plan is completed, university and unit-level Tactics and Metrics will be developed to guide decision-making and ensure accountability. This page will be updated as revised versions of the plan are developed by the Strategic Planning Committee.
