Eli Groff
International Student and Scholar Advisor
BIO
Eli is an International Student and Scholar Advisor who joined the Office of International Education in 2025. He advises on non-immigrant student and exchange visitor visa statuses, helping to resolve issues, answer questions, and support students throughout their UVM journey. Outside of advising, Eli helps coordinate international community programming, events, and social media, including Instagram. Before joining the OIE, Eli grew up in the Philippines, earned his bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Lafayette College in 2023, and most recently worked as a research and program contractor for local organizations focused on international youth and sustainable development. Outside the office, Eli can be found in local coffee shops, boxing, sailing during the summer, and working on his vocals year-round!
