Spring Schedule

Group Information Sessions and Tours

Get a glimpse of all that UVM offers by attending an information session and student-guided walking tour of central campus (unless otherwise noted, these sessions start at Admissions Visitors Center, 184 South Prospect Street). The program generally lasts two hours.

  • January 17–May 3 most weekdays
  • Saturdays: February 2, 9, 16, 23; March 2, 23, 30; April 6, 13; May 4

Transfer Information Sessions and Tours

This program is for prospective transfer students who are interested in learning more about the many opportunities at the University of Vermont. The session will include an overview of UVM and the admissions process, specific for transfer students, followed by a student-led walking tour of campus. The tour lasts about 75 minutes; plan to spend two hours with us. Students are encouraged to bring unofficial transcripts. If further evaluation is needed, students are welcome to leave their transcripts for advisement and unofficial transfer credit evaluations.

Admitted Student Visit Days (ASV)

Admitted Student Visit Days are offered each spring to admitted students and their families. This day-long program is designed exclusively with accepted students in mind. Learn more.

Admitted Student Information Sessions

If you are not able to attend one of our eight full day Admitted Student Visit Days (ASV), consider this two hour program for admitted students. We will share key information about what your four years at UVM will look like. You will have the chance to meet current UVM students and go on a campus tour.

Joining the Circle (Diversity Program)

An intimate program geared toward traditionally underrepresented admitted students including first-generation college students and (African, Latino(a), Asian, and Native American), Multiracial and New American students, including their families. The program is designed to help admitted students decide if UVM is the right match by offering a day on campus. Joining the Circle is held in conjunction with the Admitted Student Visit Day on March 29.

Jumpstart for Juniors

This program for high school sophomores and juniors includes an admissions presentation, student and faculty panel and a campus tour.

Research Vermont for Juniors (by invitation only)

High-achieving high school juniors are invited to a program on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 starting at 9 a.m. which includes an overview of UVM, lunch on campus, UVM Student Research Conference where our exceptional undergraduates present their research findings, and an optional campus tour.

Other/Ongoing Visit Options

If you wish to meet with an academic representative during the academic year, please contact Muffy Deslaurier at Muffy.Deslaurier@uvm.edu or (802) 656-3373. Two weeks notice requested. Individual visits may be restricted during certain times of the year, especially during exam preparation periods. Prospective students interested in meeting with an athletic coach, please contact the coach directly. Find team and coach information on the Athletics website.
