Millicent Eidson, D.V.M., is the instructor for PH6220, One Health: Zoonoses. She is also a Professor Emeritus at the UAlbany School of Public Health and was formerly employed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Mexico and New York state health departments.
Dr. Eidson’s degrees include an M.A. in Social Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. She was in the 1983 class of the CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS). Her board certifications include the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and its Epidemiology specialty.
