BIO

Chris Zuidema is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Public Health at the Larner College of Medicine. He is an environmental health scientist with expertise in exposure assessment, air pollution, and occupational health. His research interests include exposure assessment for environmental epidemiology, low-cost methods to assess environmental exposures, the incorporation of sensor data into models of air pollution, and the impacts of air pollution exposure on vulnerable groups. Dr. Zuidema teaches in the Master of Public Health program and mentors students on coding, data analysis, and reproducible research. He is a certified industrial hygienist and formerly worked for the Vermont Department of Health.
