The University of Vermont created the Men and Masculinities Program because we recognized that male and masculine students faced barriers to accessing a college education, supportive relationships, and services that promote academic success. The Men and Masculinities Program now aims to address these trends by developing programs, partnerships, and supportive services that help male and masculine students achieve academic excellence, build community, and enact positive change. We center Our Common Ground values of justice, respect, openness, and integrity in everything we do to ensure our entire UVM community can access and benefit from the Men and Masculinities Program.
