BIO
Anna Leavey (she/her) is a full time psychiatric nurse practitioner at CAPS, and her office is located on the Redstone Campus. Anna has a Master's degree in education from the University of Toronto, and received her Master's in Science at UVM in 2012. After working as a high school teacher in Vermont, Anna returned to school and has since continued to enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. Anna has experience working in community mental health, but particularly with transitional age young people, both in outpatient settings, as well as intensive outpatient programs. With experience in treating mood disorders, and anxiety, among other diagnoses, Anna enjoys helping young people navigate a time of life with change and transition. She enjoys traveling, adventures, and being outdoors.
