Methods
The methods followed in the creation of the dataset, including description of field, laboratory and processing steps, and quality control procedures
Current Methods
- Sample site establishment- Four sites were established for vegetation sampling so that each site may be accurately relocoated for re-study in future years for comparative purposes. Each sample site (20x30m) is subdivided into a 10x10 grid of 100 intersections, spaced 2x3m apart. A random number array determined the x, y coordinates of grid intersections to be sampled. Frequency and cover data were gathered in addition to general observations. - Dataset Fields- Detailed documentation of the fields comprising the dataset, including the type of measurement, units where applicable, and any controlled vocabularies or code lists present in the data
