Project Overview
Data was collected by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation on several occasions ranging from 2013 - 2021. Sites were monitored for effectiveness of invasive plant treatment of glossy buckthorn, Japanese knotweed, and honeysuckle at sites along the Westfield River and on Mt. Greylock. Analysis was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatments. Analysis was conducted in 2025 by FEMC (Elissa Schuett).
Objectives
To evaluate invasive plant treatment effectiveness for three types of invasive plants (glossy buckthorn, Japanese knotweed, and honeysuckle) along the Westfield River and on Mt. Greylock.
