Project Overview

In 2025-2026, FEMC created maps of oak wilt risk in Connecticut incollaboration with partners at Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station and the U.S. Forest Service. The maps show oak wilt risk based on soil type (% sand), ridges, and red oak aboveground biomass. Different maps combining these variables in different ways are available.
