LISTSERV Discussion Group

To allow for easy communication and discussion we have established a LISTSERV (email distribution list service). This list is for anyone who has an interest in NECAFS activities and food safety initiatives in the Northeast Region in general.

Subscribing to the NECAFS List

To subscribe to this list:

  1. Send e-mail to: listserv@list.uvm.edu
  2. Leave the subject line blank
  3. On the first line of the body of the message type the following: sub NECAFS [enter your name here and delete the brackets] For example, if Salmonella Poona wanted to subscribe, this would be the message body: sub NECAFS Salmonella Poona
  4. Send the message.
  5. If your subscription is successfully, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
  6. You must respond by following the e-mail directions, otherwise you will not be subscribed to the listserv.

Using the NECAFS List

Once subscribed you will start to receive emails sent to the list.

To send an email out to the list, send your message to: necafs@list.uvm.edu

Unsubscribing from the NECAFS List

To unsubscribe, remove your name from the list and stop receiving messages:

  1. Send e-mail to: listserv@list.uvm.edu 
  2. Leave the subject line blank
  3. On the first line of the body of the message type the following: signoff NECAFS or unsub NECAFS
  4. Send the message.
