The Environmental Program is happy to support undergraduate engagement in research as part of the University’s Planetary Health Initiative.
This summer, we will fund up to five undergraduate Planetary Health Fellows who are working with UVM faculty to conduct research at the nexus of ecological and human health. The fellows must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate students. This opportunity is ideal for undergraduates already working with faculty advisors on Planetary Health-related topics. Integration with any of UVM’s 11 Natural Areas is a strong bonus.
The application should be submitted by the perspective fellow’s faculty advisor. Submissions accepted until April 28th.
Undergraduate Fellows will receive a summer stipend of $4000. Announcements of the awards will be made no later than May 6th.
