What is edu@uvm?

edu@uvm is a three-day signature learning event focused on staff development. This annual event brings colleagues together from across campus to share knowledge, cultivate skills and master the intricacies of UVM. All workshops aim to positively impact the work life of UVM employees through the three edu@uvm objectives: educate, develop, understand.

Educate employees on new topics and perspectives, improving our cross-cultural competence, our ability to work more effectively and thoughtfully and grow as employees, benefitting the UVM community as a whole.

Develop professionally through technical and leadership skills training and continue to develop our strong interpersonal skills.

Understand and navigate the policies, procedures and future developments specific to UVM.
