The University of Vermont central Drupal web publishing platform will be transitioning from Drupal 7 to a new platform using Drupal 10 throughout 2024. We are no longer accecpting new requests for access to Drupal 7. To find out more about the transtion to Drupal 10 and to get training, join us on the Drupal 10 Web Guide MS Team. For the time being, some documentation is still available for edits in Drupal 7. For all new web groups and questions regarding Drupal 10, please contact us using the online Help Form

Migration to Drupal 10: The Timeline

  • December 2022 - New UVM homepage launches
  • Spring 2023 - New top-tier overview pages for the main UVM.edu website
  • Late Summer 2023 - College, division, department and other websites begin to migrate to the new infrastructure

 

Training Opportunities

As the project progresses, we will be offering multiple training possibilities that will be shared on this web page and via the UVM Web and Communicators listserv. Opportunities will include:

  • General group training sessions (on Teams or in-person)
  • Customized workshops
  • Online documentation for creating and editing web content
  • Additional weekly help hours sessions

When accessing Help Hours via Teams you will be placed in a waiting room. You will be let in as soon as any people in front of have finished. The Drupal transition is a very busy time, so we apologize if response times are longer than usual.

Web Accessibility Training

Our training is online and required in order to launch a site. Please fill out the help form to launch a Drupal site to obtain permissions for accessibility guidelines training.
