Julie Fine is the Senior Climate and Agriculture Specialist for American Farmland Trust in New England. She worked on vegetable and dairy farms for a decade before earning an MS in plant and soil science from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst. At AFT, Julie works with farmers and organizations across New England towards site-specific strategies for climate adaptation, soil health, and farmland sustainability. Her favorite topics are cover crops and tillage reduction. Julie lives in western MA with her 2 kids, many pets, and loves to grow flowers and raspberries.
