Celebrating Vermont's Outstanding Educators

Every year, the College of Education and Social Services (CESS) at the University of Vermont, together with Vermont supervisory unions and school districts, the Vermont Agency of Education, and the Vermont NEA, join to honor the accomplishments of our state’s outstanding educators. 

We are excited to host the 42nd Annual Outstanding Educators' Day at UVM on November 9, 2022. More details about the event will be available soon. 

The 41st Annual Outstanding Educators' Day event took place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 with a virtual live stream event recognizing the impact and accomplishments of Vermont's 2021 Outstanding Teachers. Vermont Agency of Education Secretary Daniel French also introduced and gave special recognition to 2022 Vermont Teacher of the Year Karen McCalla.
