BIO
Susan is a sociologist and and community-engaged instructor who works at UVM primarily in faculty development, supporting faculty in community-engaged pedagogy. She was a co-founder of the Calahan Park Community Garden, and has served on the board of City Market, on the Burlington School District Parent Advisory Council, and in a leadership role with area Indivisible chapters. She is active in Murmurations Aerial Dance Studio, and hikes, cross-country skis, and kayaks for fun.
