Emily graduated from WashU in St. Louis in 2024 with a major in Environmental Analysis and minors in Anthropology and the Business of Social Impact. Following graduation, she moved to Italy where she worked on a variety of farms in Umbria, Emilia-Romagna, and Piedmont. This experience further solidified her passion for food systems and sparked an interest in understanding the opportunities for agritourism in the US. Additionally, since 2023, Emily has worked for the Aspen Institute, supporting both the Aspen Ideas Festival and Aspen Ideas: Climate. Her background in agriculture, policy, and public programming led her to UVM where she is eager to continue her research. When not in class, you can find Emily biking, hiking, skiing, climbing, or reading. Originally from New Jersey, she is excited to return to the East Coast.
