Amanda (she/her) is entering the Food Systems Master's program on the accelerated track as she completes her undergraduate studies. Her passion for food systems started her first semester at UVM; since then, she has become interested in agroecology, sustainable agriculture, and food access. Through interning at the Vermont Foodbank and as Co-Chair of Slow Food UVM, she seeks to learn more about the role that food plays in forming community. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, she enjoys the Vermont landscape that allows for hiking, camping, and more. When not outdoors, you can find her reading, cooking, or crafting.
