UVM Real Food Working Group Seeks New Members

The Real Food Working Group is currently recruiting UVM faculty, staff, and student members for the 2016-2017 academic year. The Real Food Working Group is a group of students, staff, faculty, and UVM Dining members who work together to implement UVM's Real Food Campus Commitment. The group meets monthly to discuss purchasing shifts, policies, and UVM’s progress towards increasing Real Food on campus.

Members have an opportunity to learn about institutional food purchasing, make tangible changes at UVM, and connect with a national network of students and university professionals interested in bringing just and sustainable food to their campuses. Members are also involved in individual research projects and outreach efforts to support Real Food on campus.

The application is available on the UVM Real Food Challenge website. The application deadline is April 22.
