Researchers at the University of Vermont and Drexel University are attempting to develop a quantitative construct they call food agency to measure individuals ability to set and achieve goals related to food. Americans of all backgrounds increasingly struggle with maintaining a healthy diet; it is clear that healthy food choices and behaviors derive in some part from individuals cooking knowledge and abilities as well as from their social relationships, supports, and barriers. You can participate in this research by completing an online survey that will ask you about your food habits and beliefs. The survey will take between 10-20 minutes and will also ask for basic demographic information.

You can participate in this study if you are 18 years of age or older, can read English fluently, and are a resident of the United States. If you meet the above criteria, you can find more information and participate in the survey by clicking the following http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2028122/FAS

Remuneration:

Subjects in this research will be eligible to enter their names into a drawing for a $50 Amazon.com gift card; a total of 6 gift cards will be drawn. The drawing for these gift cards will be held by May 31, 2015.
