Dr. Emily Belarmino is seeking up to two qualified applicants to assist with research in the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences.  The student(s) will support Dr. Belarmino’s research related to sustainable dietary patterns among rural populations, provide instructional support to the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences, and complete a Master’s thesis (rather than the typical Master’s project) related to food choice and sustainable diets.  The two-year position includes tuition support and a living stipend.  Strong candidates will have a background in public health or community nutrition, excellent communication and organizational skills, foundational research experience, and strong motivation to further develop research skills.  Applicants to the M.S. in Food Systems program are eligible to apply and should do so by indicating interest in their Statement of Purpose.
