Food Systems Graduate Student Awarded NE SARE Grant

2nd year Food Systems MS student, Jessie Mazar, was one of 21 graduate students to be awarded a Northeast SARE Graduate Student grant to support her research project, Enhancing Food Security Among Latino/a Farm Workers in Vermont. A total of 56 proposals were submitted, and it is uncommon for social scientists to be chosen. Congratulations to Jessie and her advisor, Teresa Mares, for this accomplishment and for their important contribution to food justice for farmworkers in Vermont.
