Campus Recreation and Intramural Sports

Intramural sports are wildly popular at UVM

Here's why: Flag football, soccer, broomball, badminton, basketball, dodgeball, the list goes on, and the competition can be serious (serious FUN, that is).

Both team sports and individual/dual events exist, as well as co-ed and same-sex teams. Join a residence hall team, or a team through another campus organization. Don't have a team? Sign up as a free-agent and let a team find you.

Fitness programs

If you want individual fitness but need the motivation of companions or scheduled time, Campus Recreation offers group fitness classes and personal training. Aerobics classes, cycling, dance, yoga, TRX, Pilates, kickboxing and more. The weekly group fitness schedule varies by semester.

Physical Education Classes for Credit (PEAC)

The Physical Education Basic Instruction (PEAC) program provides students, faculty and staff with a variety of recreational and educational opportunities regardless of experience or skill in a sport. Participants earn an academic credit.

Campus Recreation facilities (Self-paced workout options)

Aside from boasting some of the best views in the area, UVM's sprawling athletic complex also offers some of the best workout facilities around. Stay fit and have fun.
