Welcome to the University of Vermont! I would like to introduce myself as the Coordinator of Student Veteran Services, a dedicated resource to help student veterans on campus. I am a Marine, a former student veteran, and a staff member at UVM. My immediate goal is to provide enrollment certification, support and encouragement for all students using VA education benefits here at UVM and to be a resource to help faculty and staff direct students to support and answer questions. If you are a prospective student, a student veteran, a dependent using VA education benefits, or a faculty or staff member working with student veterans, I am here for you.
is an exciting time to be a student, especially a student veteran, in higher
education. Thank you for your service and the sacrifice your
family has made. Your education benefits are earned by virtue
your honorable service and are a very sincere thank you from a grateful
nation. If you would like the ability to contribute to what
available for student veterans on campus I encourage you to stop by the
Student Veteran Organization’s weekly meetings by contacting Randi
Diabo, President of SVO, at Randi.Diabo@uvm.edu.
In the near future I will be posting drop-in office hours at a location to be determined. Please don't hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do to help you be successful this semester - even if it's just grabbing a coffee and talking about options that are available to you. That's what I'm here for!
