Independent Study: Readings and Research
This independent study course is ENGS 197 (fall semester) and ENGS 198 (spring semester)
With the advice and approval of a faculty sponsor, you can design your own study project. It cannot duplicate any of the department's regular course offerings.
The application requires signatures from your academic advisor, your faculty sponsor, and the department chair or designate. Deadline for approvals and registration for Readings and Research is the end of the add/drop period.
