UVM's English Department, one of the oldest in the United States, is comprised of 29 tenured and tenure-track professors, 22 lecturers, and 11 graduate teaching assistants. Our faculty members include 9 winners of the Kroepsch-Maurice Award for Teaching Excellence and 2 recipients of the George V. Kidder Outstanding Faculty Award.
