Engineering graduate student receives Outstanding Student award

Graduate student Karen Sentoff was honored as TRC Outstanding Student of the Year at the Council of University Transportation Centers Twelfth Anniversary Annual Awards Banquet. She received a plaque from the U.S. DOT and a $1,000 check.
Karen is a candidate for a Masters in Environmental Engineering. She works on the Transportation Research Center's project, "Emissions and Performance of Alternative Vehicles in Northern Climates," led by School of Engineering Associate Professor Holmén, Ph.D. Ms. Sentoff will focus her research on the vehicles' cold-start toxins.
