Dr. Mark Hutton, an extension agent from Maine and Tom Stearns from High Mowing Seeds,
will lead a walking tour and discussion at the High Mowing fields in North Wolcott.

Mark has extensive experience with seed production, plant breeding and conducting variety trials.
Join us as we walk through the extensive trials and seed production at High Mowing Seeds
discussing the topics of selection, plant breeding for organics, see borne diseases,
seed production techniques and more.

This workshop and tour is geared toward growers with an interest in commercial seed
production.  Meet experienced and interested seed growers from around VT.

Please bring a bag lunch and weather gear as we will be in the field the entire time.

Directions:
We are 45 min. north of Montpelier, 1 hour east of Burlington, and 45 min. west of St. Johnsbury.
From wherever you are get to rte. 15 in Wolcott.  Wolcott is equidistant between Hardwick and Morrisville.
Take the North Wolcott Rd. for 4 miles until you come to the N. Wolcott Store.
Continue for 1/4 mile and turn left onto the Brook Rd.
Go right at the immediate fork and continue for 1.25 mile until
you see the large white tent in a field of vegetables.
