Mike Langely will host all interested vegetable and berry growers at their farm in New Gloucester. We will tour the fields of strawberries, get a look at
the new, state of the art irrigation pond and have a cultivation demonstration.   We'll also have a quick review of scouting techniques for
the major insect pests.  One pesticide applicator recertification credit will be offered for attending the meeting.

Directions to Langley's: Take the Union Street exit off of I-95 in Bangor and go west on rt. 222 toward Hermon.  Proceed on Rt. 222 for a little over 5 miles, then turn right onto Crogan Rd. (look for the blue DOT sign).  The farm is about ½ mile up Crogan Rd. on the right.
