Crossroad Farm, in Post Mills, Vermont is a sixty acre vegetable farm in Post Mills, VT, one half mile from Lake Fairlee. For over 22 years our extended family and crew have been growing a wide variety of vegetables, as well as strawberries, melons, flowers, and bedding plants to sell at our farm stand and the Norwich Farmers Market. We deliver our produce to local restaurants, camps, and Coops throughout the Upper Valley, specializing in greens and tomatoes.CROSSROAD FARM
We take pride in producing a consistent supply of great tasting vegetables while practicing sustainable agriculture to maintain the land for future generations. This involves use of animal and green manures to improve soil quality as well as practices that eliminate or minimize use of pesticides. Crop rotations, innovative cultivation techniques, integrated pest management (IPM), and use of row covers and beneficial insects, are several cultural methods we use in these pursuits.
Each spring our greenhouses are full of top quality hanging baskets, annuals, herbs and vegetable plants. You will find vegetables of exceptional variety and flavor at the stand from June through September. Careful planning means we can sell only what we grow. And yet we enjoy growing over 50 varieties of vegetables and several hundred different greenhouse cultivars.
Come visit our colorful spring greenhouses or the flourishing rows of vegetables any time from the end of April to the end of September. And if there is snow in the winter, feel free to come cross-country skiing on the tracks Tim has set.
