The Gund Institute for Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont is embarking on a project titled "Ecosystem Services: Dynamics, Modeling, and Valuation to Facilitate Conservation" funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.

This project aims to link current experts and methods in the field of ecosystem services with the vision of creating an interactive website equiped with computer models and GIS to calculate ecosystem services throughout the world. This project is centered on two meetings to be held in Burlington, Vermont, the second is to be held from July 16-20, 2007. This website contains information about this project and the scheduled meetings.
