Title: Study on Forest Ecosystem Services Functions in China

Abstract: More and more people had cognized the important functions of forest in nature, because it not only provided wood and its by-products, but also protect environment, alter nature, and assure the high-stable production of agriculture and husbandry. Especially, it kept the nature balance. This study summed up that the forest ecosystem services were providing wood and its by-product, realization and recreation, conserving water, fixing carbon and releasing oxygen, clearing air, conserving soil, keeping biodiversities, and controlling wind and fixing shifting sands. Furthermore, all the services functions were explained by the examples.
