• Envision the desirable future scenario the community wants to reach
• Identify opportunities for human, social, economic and ecological improvement
• Develop a strategy for sustainable forest management of Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains
• Achieve efficient allocation of ecosystem services from forests
• Highlight ecologically, socially, and economically optimal forest land use and property rights in a transition economy
• Develop a committed network of stakeholders working towards the identified desired ends.
