I recently had the opportunity to walk across the UVM Green with President Sullivan and he took the time to greet everyone we passed with words of welcome and a friendly smile. It got me thinking, what if everyone in our community said "hello," "good morning," and "good afternoon" as they passed one another and we each said the same in return? Staff Council Holiday Bazaar and Food Drive
December 3, 2014

The Holiday Bazaar and Food Drive is scheduled for Wed., Dec. 3, 2014. Volunteers are needed throughout the day as well as bakers willing to donate a delicious baked good to our bake sale. You can sign up online here. This is Staff Council's largest event of the year and an opportunity for staff and other members of the UVM community to sell handmade crafts, pottery, art work, home made baked goods. Remember to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf and get one free ticket to our Raffle! Continue reading . . .

Your Choice For Your Voice - Educate Yourself!

The Vermont Labor Relations Board (VLRB) has set an election for eligible staff in the Administrative Support or Clerical, Technical and Specialized job families at UVM to determine whether these employees wish to be represented by a union. The election will occur on December 16 and 17 from 7:30am - 5:30pm in the Marsh Lounge of the Billings Center, 48 University Place.
