Film size dialog box

Shortcut

Toolbar:

You use the film size dialog box to describe the dimensions of the film used to capture the images. For example, if you use a 35mm camera, you should enter a film size of 24mm by 36mm.

These values are used to interpret the camera focal length. The degree of image warping required to stitch the panorama is defined by the ratio of these values to the focal length. Enter the film size, not the image size, even if you are scanning photographic prints. For digital cameras, use 24mm by 36mm and enter the 35mm equivalent focal length.

The film size dialog box offers the following controls:

Film size (mm)

Enter the width and height of the film image in millimeters.
