1.  Twister and Lube:  3 weeks from today on Feb. 7th. 

            Posters will be printed out by tomorrow come get them, color them

            Should we flier, we will discuss this next week.

2. BHM- black history month. 

             Events include movies, soul-food social, open mic, hair discussion

             Free to be will be giving $ to an event.  You should attend!

3. Drag Ball at higher ground. February 12th.  Buy tickets they sell out quick… 18+

4.  Melissa Ferrick at higher ground.  January 28th. Buy tickets at pure-pop for $14 cash,  $15 with credit card.  18+

<>5.  Law and Order SVU tomorrow night at 10…deals with trans issues…will be taped and shown for a time out.

6.  Commitment to tic- if any free to be’ers want to help out the day of tic, please e-mail or let Kim know asap we need to know by next weeks meeting.  You will need to be there from 6 am until about 7pm on Saturday, march 5th.  You will get a free staff shirt, and you can also touch Ethan’s staff

7.  officers- if you wanna be one for next year you must show interest and attend meetings.  Speak with the current officers for more deitails:

8.  Spring retreat- we want to have one, and we do have some money.  Kim is looking into the availability for the outing club cabin during march and april, specifically april 2nd

9.  Desk- our desk is broken, Ethan is going to the UVM surplus barn to pick out a new one on Wednesday at 1:30 if anyone wants to go contact him.  If he cannot find a desk, one will be purchased from Ikea. 

10.  Creating change will be in Berkeley, CA next year.  If we want to go we need to get some money.  If we have a concert in September, we could organize all of the funding this semester, and next fall all we would need to do is the easy stuff.  This could pay for flights to CA.  If you want to go to the conference, you must help and be dedicated to the fundraising effort. 

11: announcements:

            a: Jaqui’s column is organizing task forces, one for AIDS and one against domestic abuse.  If you would like to get involved please refer to the e-mail she will be sending to us all

            b.  inauguration is this Thursday.  The queer liberation army (QLA) will be meeting at the top of church on Thursday at 5:30 to perform a counter inauguration. And a mock-trial of George W. Bush, if anyone is interested in going.
