Cross-cutting themes for discussion over lunch with share back:

Topic

1

How can we work with existing partners and engage underserved communities to share our CIROH research products in ways that enhance public understanding and are more accessible and equitable?

2

What machine learning or computational workflows can we advance as a UVM community to maximize project outcomes and UVM’s contributions to CIROH?

3

What best practices and/or collaborations can we adopt for sensor deployments and field measurements to maximize collaborations and insights?

4

What practices and considerations should we attend to in data QA/QC and making data publicly available as our projects proceed?

5

What opportunities, experiences, and expertise can we leverage in Vermont to contribute to forecast design at a national setting?

6

What are we looking to improve via CIROH? What metrics or advances will demonstrate improvement in forecasting or forecast design?
