Surplus Property Program

The University of Vermont Surplus Program helps reduce campus waste by collecting and redistributing usable items from buildings across UVM.

Our mission is to extend the life of materials through reuse, repurposing, and redistribution, supporting sustainability and a circular economy in alignment with UVM’s Comprehensive Sustainability Plan

Visit us and browse a constantly changing selection of surplus items, including desks, chairs, file cabinets, and more. You never know what you might discover!

We are open to the public and all are welcome to explore.
