Section Description

Introduction to programming and computer science with Python. Topics include types, variables, functions, branching, loops, flow of control, simple input/output, and basic data structures. Section Expectation

Assumes no prior experience with programming. Student should have high school algebra. Regularly scheduled assessments. Be prepared to spend roughly ~15 hours per week on this course—though this will vary from student to student.

Evaluation

Weekly homework, quizzes, three exams, metacognition essays, a demo video.
