Section Description

This asynchronous online course provides an introduction to the nonprofit sector and the essential accounting principles that support it. Students will explore the unique financial structures and reporting requirements of nonprofit organizations. The course covers key topics such as financial statements, revenue recognition, and the role of accounting in ensuring transparency and accountability, as well as contrast the differences from traditional for-profit entities and related reporting. This course equips students with the foundational knowledge to navigate the financial aspects of the nonprofit world.
