Section Description

This course provides an introduction and overview of the tools and techniques of financial decision-making. You will learn what information is necessary for a manager to make effective financial decisions, the corporation’s role in the financial system with a focus on how firms are funded, and how the securities used for funding are valued, how financial information should be analyzed and interpreted in order to make effective and informed business decisions, and how relevant risk for shareholders can be measured and how it affects their expected return.
